Nanno Kleiterp, Chairman of the EDFI Board, joins Dan Runde for a discussion on how the environment of Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) has changed over the past year. CSIS, in collaboration with EDFI published a report last fall, Development Finance Institutions Come of Age, that suggested that DFI investments will surpass Official Development Assistance around 2020. Nanno also discusses his recent book, Banking for a Better World, and his experiences working at FMO, the Dutch Development Bank.
