On 5 March 2018, Maria Håkansson took on her position as new CEO. She joins Swedfund from Ericsson, where she was Vice President Internet of Things (IoT). Maria Håkansson has held several leading roles within Ericsson, among other things as Vice President Commercial Management & Sourcing in Northern Europe and Central Asia, CFO Market Unit Nordic & Baltics and Director Strategic Business Investments (M&A). She also brings experience of working in the US and the Philippines.

Maria Håkansson has extensive experience from a number of senior positions within Ericsson in an international context, strong financial capabilities and a genuine interest in sustainability issues.
